This May, we have a real opportunity to take the final steps toward our new playground.

With the district planning to remove the current equipment at the end of May, our focus is on raising the remaining funds needed for installation. Give to Lincoln (May 1–28) gives us the perfect chance to do it, with every donation going further through a community match pool and daily bonus drawings.

We need your help to make it happen. Review the options below and sign up for the way you’d like to support.

Play It Forward on May 2

Join us for Play It Forward, our community yard stand day May 2.

Beattie families and neighbors can sign up to host a stand. Think lemonade stands, bake sales, art sales, or crafts. It’s a fun way to connect with others while supporting the playground.

We’ll also create and share a community map of all stands, and with the Country Club neighborhood sales happening the same day, we’ll have great visibility across the area.

All proceeds from yard stands will be donated back to the playground fund through Give to Lincoln.

Sign Up for a Donation Day

Commit to donating at least $10 on one day between May 1 and May 28 through Give to Lincoln.

Each day we receive a donation, we’re entered into a daily drawing for bonus funds. More days = more chances to earn extra support.

If you’re hosting a yard stand, please choose a donation date after May 2.

Help Spread the Word

Throughout May, we’ll be canvassing the neighborhood by leaving flyers at homes. It’s an easy way to make a big impact — just a short walk helps us reach more people and grow community support for Beattie Elementary. Experienced canvassers estimate about 30 houses per hour, and we have 2,150 homes to reach.

Volunteers can sign up to distribute flyers in our surrounding community. We’ll provide the flyers and a map of your route, and they can be delivered anytime before May 23 on your own schedule.

Let’s Make It Happen

This playground will be a place for kids and neighbors to stay active, connect, and grow together.

We’re so close. A strong push during Give to Lincoln, can help bring it to life.

Sign up, spread the word, and be part of making this playground a reality.

With just $77,000 to go, we're nearing the finish line on the Boundless Play campaign to replace Beattie Elementary's playground.
