This April, the Beattie community is coming together around a wild idea we believe will have a powerful impact. We're hosting an auction so every child has a place to play, explore, and belong on our school's and our community's playground.
From April 7 through April 12, Beattie PTO will host Boundless Bids, an online auction designed to help fund the final stretch of Beattie Elementary’s playground transformation. The goal is twofold: unlock a $100,000 matching donation and raise the final $84,000 needed to complete the project.
For families, neighbors, alumni, and community supporters, Boundless Bids offers a way to make a tangible difference — one bid at a time.
Why This Matters
Beattie’s playground is more than 40 years old, and while it has served generations of students, it no longer meets the needs of today’s children. The Boundless Play, Boundless Impact campaign is working to create a modern, inclusive playground where students of all abilities can play safely and confidently.
The full campaign aims to raise $270,000 to build a space that reflects Beattie’s values: accessibility, connection, and belonging. Boundless Bids plays a critical role in reaching that goal.
How Boundless Bids Works
The auction will run online through Zeffy from 9 a.m. Tuesday, April 7, through 10 p.m. Sunday, April 12. Participants can browse and bid on a wide variety of items — from museum passes and family activities to date-night experiences, sports entertainment, and self-care packages.
Every winning bid goes directly to the playground project, and because Zeffy is a nonprofit-friendly platform, 100% of funds raised support the cause.
Winning bidders can pick up their items on April 24 in the Beattie gym during Art in the Garden Night, turning the celebration of creativity into a celebration of community impact.

More Than an Auction
Boundless Bids isn’t just about raising money. It’s about rallying a community around a shared vision. It’s about parents bidding on a class basket, grandparents sharing the auction link with friends, teachers cheering on students, and neighbors stepping forward to support a school that serves as a cornerstone of the community.
Every bid tells a story:
How You Can Help
When the auction goes live, browse, bid, and share. Forward the link to friends and family, post it on social media, and help spread the word. The more people who participate, the closer Beattie comes to building a playground where every child — regardless of ability — can play freely and safely.
Together, we can turn Boundless Bids into a playground that will serve students for generations.
