Play it Forward for Give to Lincoln

This May, we are teaming up with Give to Lincoln Day to raise funds for our new playground, and we’re inviting our whole community to Play It Forward, a communitywide fundraiser.

What’s Give to Lincoln Day?

Give to Lincoln Day is an annual giving event hosted by the Lincoln Community Foundation that encourages everyone to support local nonprofits making a difference. Every donation made through the official platform between midnight May 1 and 11:59 p.m. May 29 will be eligible for a proportional match from a $650,000 challenge match fund.

Introducing: Play It Forward Stands – Happening May 3

To boost our fundraising effort, we’re organizing Play It Forward stands on Saturday, May 3, in conjunction with the Country Club Neighborhood Garage Sales. This is a perfect opportunity for students to get creative, get involved, and give back!

Here’s how it works:

• Your student hosts a front-yard stand (think lemonade, baked goods, handmade art, or any creative idea!)

• When your stand closes, donate all proceeds on the Beattie Playground campaign via our Give to Lincoln donation page

• Stands can be open for as little or as long as you’d like — we recommend anytime between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. to catch garage sale traffic

• Don’t live near Beattie? No problem! Host a stand in your own neighborhood or team up with a friend who lives nearby

Remember: Proceeds must be submitted through the Give to Lincoln platform by 11:59 p.m. May 29 to be matched!
