Final Give To Lincoln totals released

What started as a harebrained idea resulted in $23,102.17 for Beattie’s playground effort!

We can't stop smiling!

It was all thanks to the incredible kindness of the Beattie Elementary community and the support of the Lincoln Community Foundation’s matching fund. Final results were shared in a morning Give to Lincoln event at the end of June. Here's the breakdown:

• $21,550 in direct donations

• $1,552.17 from the matching fund

• $23,102.17 total added to our playground campaign!

This boost brings us to about one-third of our fundraising goal of $250,000, and we will continue pushing hard to hit that goal and get a new playground in place for our students.

We want to remind you: Every donation, every yard stand, every social media share made a difference to this Give to Lincoln success. Whether you gave $10 or $1,000, you are helping to build more than just a playground: You are helping to build a future where every child can laugh, play and reboot during the school day.

What’s Next?

We’re keeping the momentum going by:

• Continuing to apply for grants; and

• Partnering with local businesses who want to be part of something meaningful. We have our corporate sponsorship packet prepped and ready and are reaching out to businesses with the hopes of hitting our December 2025 fundraising goal!
