About the Event
Our goal is to make the Beattie Walk-A-Thon our one-and-only fundraiser for the year! This fundraiser provides our school and children with "extras" needed for success — things such as supplemental classroom supplies; learning technology; enrichment activities, such as extra educational field trips and after-school clubs; the community garden; and free community events, such as Fall Fun Night, Glow Dance and Art in the Garden Night.
Join us in this effort by helping promote and raise funds or volunteering at the walk.
2023-24 Theme: BEE Beattie
Our students are brilliant, encouraging, adventurous, thoughtful, trustworthy, invincible and extraordinary! Students will begin raising money via Pledgestar donations beginning Aug. 28. Our goal is raise $25,000 to support students, teachers and the Beattie community for the entire school year! No matter whether a student is able to gather donations or not, everyone will be participating in the Walk-a-Thon set for Sept. 26 during the school day.
The walking schedule for students and their parents, families or caregivers who would like to join is:
- 8:35 - 9:10 a.m.: 5th grade
- 9:15 - 9:50: 4th grade
- 9:55 - 10:30: 2nd grade
