Garden Days

Join us in the Beattie Gardens to help pick produce, weed our prairie gardens, enjoy kid-friendly activities, and learn about gardening.  Our garden nights are a chance to take pride in our school's phenomenal and unique gardens, meet familes, and let our students learn (and get a little dirty). 

Snacks made from the produce and fruits from the Beattie gardens are frequently a highlight for students and their adults. 

Come grow with us.  Here's our schedule for 2023-24:

Aug. 10: Pick Up Your Produce, 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Aug. 21: Garden Night, 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Sept. 25: Garden & Grandparents Night, 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Oct. 26: Fall Fest, 5:30-7 p.m.

Nov. 11: Fall Clean-Up, 8:30-11:30 a.m.

March 23: Spring Clean-up and Prep Day, 8:30-11:30 a.m.

April 19: Art in the Garen Night and Earth Day Celebration, 6-8 p.m.

May 13: Garden Night, 6:30-7:30 p.m.

June 24: Garden Night, 6:30-7:30 p.m.

July 29: Garden Night, 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Date changes and cancellations

Occassionally, garden events need to be rescheduled due to weather. When this happens, you will be notified by the school through email or text or by Beattie PTO's Facebook page.
